Owning your uniqueness & overcoming the fear of being seen.

Road Dance (2020), a painting by Natalia Zanchevskaia.

Saturday, October 25th | 3-5pm | Columbia Flow (Troutdale, OR)

Price: $35 members | $45 non-members

There’s something special and deeply profound about women coming together to learn, to heal, to connect, and most importantly, to lean into each other during a strange time of division and change.

We will come together in a small, intimate group (6-8 women only) to explore different themes each month. In the circle, we are all equal. This is a space to go deep, be real, and build genuine connections. Expect getting (re)acquainted with your inner world, clearing the noise from the outside world to get closer to your truth, gaining clarity by tuning back into your heart space, fostering compassion toward ourselves and others.

In October, we will dive into the topic of Owning your uniqueness and overcoming the fear of being seen. There are two parts of the circle. In the first part we will bring awareness to what the fear of being seen feels and looks like in our bodies, minds, and how it plays out in our daily habits. The second part we will rediscover, reconnect, and reclaim what makes you unique presence from the inside out. We women come together in community is a gentle and gradual yet effective approach to slowly introduce our nervous system to a new way of being.

We will have time for sharing & integrating by the end of the circle before we go back and anchor our beauties into the world.

About Ara Tran

Hi dear! I’m Ara. Thank you so much for being interested in the Women's Circle. Some of you may know me through Columbia Flow as a sound bath instructor. I’m also a soul reader, a gene keys + astrology enthusiast. But beyond any label, at the core of my work, I love holding space for people to reconnect with their inner world. I facilitate space for connection and transformation, guiding people to come home to themselves, to their hearts and live in alignment with the truth within.

One of many reasons why I create this space is because I crave this space for such a long time. It’s not that there is no circle out there, but not the one that I imagine. And to be honest, we don’t have enough circles in our city and we definitely need more of that, we just don’t know it yet. As someone who is very good at isolating myself & running far away from the world whenever I feel like I’m not good enough, because of the fear of being judged and being seen in general, I need both external sense of safety (the space + the people) and internal safety (how I can hold myself in the moment of discomfort) in order to not shut down. I used to read the room like an expert just to find evidence to prove to myself that I didn’t belong there. It has been a long, tender journey and I understand that it’s not something that needs to be fixed (there’s nothing wrong with you), but something that needs to be loved, in order for us to open our hearts again.

The space I hold is for that intention specifically: Every time you come into the circle (or my sound bath), you release a little bit of resistance and cultivate more compassion toward yourself. Healing is not a one-time thing, and with all the time I spent in isolation, I came back to the world realizing that you can gain the self-awareness you need in solitude, but true healing often happens in community. In a safe space more accurately, so we can slowly let down our guards and soften. That’s why I intend to keep the circle small, intimate, and cozy. For those who are genuinely wanting to learn, connect, and do the real work together.

As someone who is fortunate enough to have received lots of support on my journey, including financial support when it comes to opportunities like this, I’d love to pay it forward by offering scholarship(s) for those are in need so no one will be turned away for the lack of funds. If you’re genuinely interested in joining the circle but experiencing financial hardships, please send me an email via dearestara22@gmail.com or simply talk to me in-person if possible.
